I have no idea why I waited so long to see Refugee at the Annenberg Space for Photography. I went yesterday to see the exhibit and really enjoyed the whole experience!
The layout of the exhibit was well done. The mix between the contrast of the colored walls and the photos really brought a lot of dimension to the exhibit. As far as the documentary short film in the main hall, it was top notch! I was told by one of the volunteers who works at the museum that a new production company was used for the film. An extra added bonus was that one of my favorite actresses, Cate Blanchett, did the narration for the film.
If you can spare some time in your life schedule, you should go and see this exhibit before it closes on August 21st. You won’t be disappointed! Below is a photo and some information on the exhibit.
I’m slowly making my schedule for my trip in the fall and looking forward to all the great scenery and photos I’ll be able to create. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for some nice clouds and possible rain. That always makes the national parks look so good! I’d even like to see some snow if possible…you never know.
Have a great week everybody!
