Happy Centennial National Parks

Thursday was the official centennial birthday of the national parks. As always, I encourage you all to visit your closest national park as soon as you can! Below is a photo I took in Yosemite from Artist Point. I like hiking up there because you can see some extra parts of the valley that Tunnel View doesn’t offer, like the meadow at the bottom part of the picture.

I watched a really interesting video today on Ansel Adams that is about 10 minutes long. It was shot at Ansel Adams’ house, which I had the opportunity to see when I did my photo workshop in Yosemite. If you get a chance, please give it a watch by clicking on the following link:

In the mean time, I’ve finalized my reservations for Yosemite and Lassen. Time to hit the trails in October and have some fun!
