It’s getting close to that time when I’ll be returning to the Sierra Nevada Mountains and Yosemite! I’m looking forward to checking out some new areas and seeing the new layout of the Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias.

I’m also looking forward to seeing the cabin I stay in every year. Below is a photo I took in October 2014, around the Merced River where the cabin is. The area in the photo is literally a short walk from the cabin. It’s nice to spend a quiet evening just sitting next to the river and then walking up to the cabin and make a great pasta dinner! 🙂
