The photo below was the image I used for my holiday cards this year. There wasn’t any snow this last fall when I was in Yosemite, so I just went with the colors of the season along the Merced River.

I’m still trying to decide about going to Lassen Volcanic National Park this summer. Summer normally isn’t a very photogenic time of the year, but I really want to hike the alpine lakes in the higher elevation. If I wait until fall, there may be a problem with accessibility. I also want to go to Glacier National Park, so that needs to be planned soon as well. That will definitely be closer to the fall season.
