Sequoias

The Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias reopened in Yosemite after being closed for approximately three years. While I was a week too early in the park to see the grove after the reopening, I did get to see the sequoias in Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon National Park.

Below are some pictures I took while in the two parks. The first two are of the General Sherman tree, which is in Sequoia National Park and the second two are of the General Grant tree in Kings Canyon National Park. I like how the General Grant tree is called “The Nation’s Christmas Tree”.

I’m sure you’re all thinking, “Hey! Why haven’t you updated the galleries on your website?!” I’m currently working on that and should have updates soon. I have to update with photos from a few trips that I’ve taken. But yeah, I agree, it’s time… 🙂

Have a great week everyone!
