Looks like my trip to Lassen Volcanic National Park is not going to happen. There is a terrible fire tearing through Shasta County, around the city of Redding. Lassen Volcanic National Park is about 47 miles east of Redding and is receiving a lot of smoke which is making the air quality really bad. Please keep the residents of Redding and the surrounding communities in your thoughts and prayers. They are all going through a lot right now. Wishing them all a speedy recovery from this disaster.
