I decided to do a blog entry today and post some of the photos I took at Descanso Gardens on Sunday.

The photo of the living space was taken inside the historic Boddy House, which is on a hill in the gardens.

As you can see, not only are there plants and flowers at the gardens, but also wildlife. It was fun catching the photo of the very placid deer. It didn’t seem to mind being around people.

Another reason why I wanted to post these images is because this was the last day trip I will get to do with my sister and niece for quite a while. They are moving with my brother-in-law to Tennessee. While this is a slightly sad moment for me, I’m looking forward to visiting them and going to the Great Smoky Mountains! My sister’s new home is extremely close to the park.
