More Yellowstone

After visiting the Mammoth Hot Springs in Yellowstone, I went to the Museum of National Park Rangers. Below is a photo of the museum.

The museum had some great exhibits, including uniforms, photos and other historic items that belonged to national park rangers over many decades. If you get to Yellowstone, don’t miss this museum.

Trivia question: Which U.S. president previously served as a national park ranger?  I’ll give you the answer at the end of this blog.

I continued through the park and visited the Norris Geyser Basin and other geothermal areas.  You can see some of my photos of the different geyser areas by going to my galleries page. I have a dedicated gallery for Yellowstone now.

Along the way to the different geyser areas, I stopped and took some photos of one of the parks most prominent wildlife:  the bison.

What would be a trip to Yellowstone if you didn’t visit Old Faithful. While in the area, I was able to see the geyser blow two times. It was a very touristy thing to do, but fun.

…and the answer to the trivia question is: Gerald Ford

Have a great week everyone!
