Two Saturdays ago I went to the Rincon beach area to see if I could get some sunset pictures. There was a clearing storm moving through the area, so I thought I might get some good images.

After I setup my camera on the tripod and waited, I noticed a huge dark cloud coming over the hills behind me. I quickly changed jackets to a rain jacket and sure enough it happened: heavy rain!

I managed to get some pictures before, during, and after the downpour. Below is one that turned out pretty good. Notice the darkness on the left side of the picture. That system eventually went over the ocean and you could see that it was raining heavily in the distance.
