Below are some images of the large barn in Foresta, California, just outside Yosemite. You can see the barn as you come down the Big Oak Flat Road into Yosemite Valley.

Most people don’t know that you can go down the side road just off the Big Oak Flat Road and park near the barn to see it. You can also go into the barn (which would explain the photos I took.)

The last image is of the meadow I took when standing inside the barn.

If you’ve never been to the barn, I highly suggest you go the next time you visit Yosemite. There is a lot of history with the barn and there are a couple of plaques with all the details in the parking area. Handicap parking is also available near the barn and picnic tables for a nice relaxing meal.
