While at the Grand Canyon in October, I spent one morning and one evening around the Desert View Watchtower. The images below of the watchtower were taken in the morning. Going up to the observation deck was really great! You could see all over the canyon from up there.

The last two images are from the one evening I spent at the watchtower, facing northeast along the canyon wall. If you ever visit the Grand Canyon, definitely take in a sunset in this area!
