This last autumn in Yosemite was really incredible. Below is an image I took when I was in Yosemite Valley. It was a late afternoon and the sun was beginning to dip low enough to create some nice light. I liked the way the sun only lit part of the river bend near Cathedral Rock.

It’s a new year and I need to start planning some trips. There are a few national parks closer to home that I’ve never been to, so those are looking like the right possibilities.
