Well, it’s not exactly a prairie…more like a view off of highway 395 in California. The two images below were taken in June of 2014.

The little house has been there for years. I would think if it was of historic significance the locals of the area would have preserved it before now.

Since 2014 the house has pretty much fallen apart and very little remains. There was a second structure that wasn’t in as good condition as this one and I can only assume that it’s most likely gone. I plan on stopping by the area later this year, so I may take a few images of how it looks now.
