I’ve been back for about a week from my trip to the Eastern Sierra and Yosemite. There were days of haze caused by the nearby Creek Fire and then days of clear blue skies. In all, I enjoyed the trip and hiking.

I took HWY 395 up and made a detour the first morning to the Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest above Big Pine, California. What an amazing way to start the trip! The hike was incredible and so was the sunrise! Below are some images I took while on the trail.
