While on my trip to Yosemite, I went up to Glacier Point to try and catch some sunrise images. Unfortunately the haze that morning was going to make it almost impossible to get a really good shot. The haze was so bad I could see it in the dark of night while driving up the road.

What ended up being beautiful were the stars before early morning twilight and sunrise. Below is an image I took facing south above the trees at Glacier Point. Strange that the haze didn’t affect that area at all.  Can you see the Big Dipper in the stars?  🙂
