I had a great time on my trip this last week to Bryce, Zion, and Cedar Breaks. It started off a little rocky with a longer than expected delay on highway 15 heading toward Barstow, so I wasn’t able to catch the sunrise that morning at Bryce. Instead, I drove up to Cedar Breaks National Monument to see the sunrise…and I wasn’t disappointed!

The road was supposed to be closed to Cedar Breaks, but it turns out all roads around the park were open and pretty much empty! I was the only one in the park from what I could see.

Below are some images from that morning. The snow was “Icing on the Cake” for me! I hadn’t seen snow in the area before, so it really made for a fun adventure.
