Below are two more images I took while hiking the Yosemite Valley floor around the west end of the park.
I had just hiked across the north side drive part of the valley loop and was around the Pohono Bridge when I took the images. The first is of the Merced River flowing toward the bridge west bound. The other is of part of the trail that follows the Merced River.
If you look at the trail photo you will notice that further down the trail is what looks to be a log blocking the trail. It was a downed tree which was pretty easy to get around. However on most of the hike there were a number of downed trees that were quite difficult to get around. Some of trees I had to climb over because they blocked every path to get around them. With so much climbing and/or vaulting, I was beginning to think that this hike was more for a gymnast or a Jedi!
Have a great week everyone!
