The photo below was taken along the beach near Ventura Harbor on February 6th this year. It was a pretty clear morning to see the Channel Islands in the distance. You can see the sun just lighting up the top of the waves on the left side of the image as it rose over the sand dunes.

Reservations for my fall trip are going good so far. Crater Lake National Park and Mt. Rainier National Park are ready. Filling in the rest slowly…trying to find close accommodations to the other parks. Can’t wait to hit the road for this trip!!!
