Along the north cliffs of Yosemite Valley is an incredible rock formation called The Three Brothers. I really became aware of these granite beauties when I did a photo workshop with Michael Frye and since then have really been drawn to them as I drive through the valley.

Below is an image of the Three Brothers that I took the Friday morning after a night of snowfall. I thought a black and white rendition of the image said a lot more. What do you think?

I’ve been thinking of taking a weekend and going up to Sequoia and Kings Canyon again. The quick drive through the parks on the way home on my last trip to Yosemite didn’t seem to be enough. Hopefully I can go back soon…
