Whenever I visit Yosemite, I try and make a short trip to Foresta, a small town area right off the Big Oak Flat Road in Yosemite.

There are two settler barns in the area that are just amazing. Below is an image of the two barns and the meadow behind them that I took on my last visit to Yosemite.

If you ever wondered if you could drive down the small road leading into Foresta, yes you can! The road leads right to a small parking area with plaques describing the barns. You can also walk down a small road to the barns and see them up close! Give them a visit next time you’re in Yosemite.
