Lunch Along The Dana Fork

During my June trip to Yosemite, I stopped in Lee Vining one late morning and grabbed a sandwich and some snacks at one of their local grocery stores before heading up Tioga Pass. Doing that provided me with a great lunch to eat along the Dana Fork of the Tuolumne River. Sitting under a tree next to the river was so relaxing and the sandwich tasted so good. Below is an image of the view I had while eating lunch.

Fall’s trip has been altered extensively. I’m not going up to Washington. I went over the itinerary I made for the trip and I realized I’d be spending more time in the car driving than actually hiking and taking photos. It made no sense spending money going up there, especially with gas prices the way they are. So, I’ll be going up to Redwoods National Park, Crater Lake National Park, and Lassen Volcanic National park. It’s a shorter trip than I wanted, but in the end it seems a little more logical. I’ll be making a separate trip to all the Washington parks in the future. Oh, and I’ll be going to Yosemite for a few days in October! 🙂

Have a great week everyone!
