It’s been a busy weekend! After spending a couple of weeks re-doing my website, I finally took the dive and re-did my blog page. I wanted the page to be more like my website so I’d have a more fluid look throughout the internet. Overall it’s pretty simple looking, but I think the font is a lot better. The previous blog had a teeny font that was hard to read. I may tweak the page here and there later, but for the most part it’s done.
In the next couple of weeks I’m planning on investing in some new flashes for my camera. I like to work with natural light, but after seeing some work by other photographers who use flashes in different ways, I think my photography will benefit from using them. Time to do more reading on how to get the most out of flashes.
Not sure if I’ll be taking a photography trip to Yosemite in the springtime this year. So far California is having a very warm winter. The state is in the starting stages of a really bad drought year. If the Sierra Nevada Mountains don’t get more rain or snow this winter, the waterfalls and rivers are going to be really low flowing in the spring. It might be better to travel somewhere else or wait until the fall. This may be the year for that trip to Yellowstone or Mt. Rainier.
Have a good week everyone. If you’re in the East, try to stay warm; if you’re in the West, try and stay cool! You’ve gotta love this crazy weather…
