Below is an image I took around Lee Vining Canyon in October 2022 during my trip to Yosemite. The aspens looked absolutely amazing and of course everyone was pulling over taking pictures of them. The afternoon sun setting through the trees made it even more memorable.

So, I haven’t made any plans yet for trips this year. Part of it has to do with a work related situation and the other…well…I have no real idea where I want to go! I spent part of today thinking this may be the year to go to Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park. Other possibilities are out there…but I’m still kind of stuck at the moment as to what I want to do. Almost time to throw some pieces of paper in a hat with the names of places on them, mix them up, and randomly grab a piece and make that the place I go to. Nothing like a surprise to make life interesting…
