One weekend morning, in March of 2014, I had an idea of going up HWY 14 to catch a sunrise…so I got up in the middle of the night and did the drive to see the sunrise. Below are two images I took that morning.

I’m hoping to make that drive in the fall this year and go into Yosemite on the east side. That morning I’d like to catch a sunrise up at the Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest above Big Pine on White Mountain. I haven’t been up there in a while and want to hike one of the trails.
