Below is an image I took while on a hike in Arches National Park on Wednesday, September 27, 2023. It was my second time in the park on the way back from the Rockies. The moon was really amazing that evening and a number of people were taking photos as it rose over the park.

AH! I want to go to Yosemite NOW!  I have to wait a little longer…but hopefully they’ll have Tioga Pass open when I go. So far the snow has been plowed to about 30 miles east of Crane Flats and another team is starting to head further east from Olmstead Point. Now it’s just the waiting game to see when they decide to open the road…
