Below are two images from my Rocky Mountain National Park road trip. It’s an early settler’s cabin that was in Capitol Reef National Park. These early settlers really had some challenges with the environment that was not limited to just heat, but also aggressive flooding. Flash floods were a pretty normal thing for this environment every year.
Yosemite is calling! However…Tioga Pass may not be open in time for me to get up to the high country. I’m evaluating to see if I should reschedule my trip…maybe wait a couple of weeks. The pass wasn’t open for Memorial Day weekend and may not be open for a couple more weeks. I’ll know more by the end of this week, but rescheduling sounds inevitable.
Have a great week everyone!
