Another Year Has Gone By…

I have to say that 2024 was actually a pretty good year for me. There were a number of changes in my life that I’m grateful for and of course there were some things that I didn’t really like, but at the end of the year it looks like it was a good and balanced year.

I hope you all had a great holiday season as it’s drawing to a close this next week. I’m slowly making a small New Years Resolution list and will hopefully meet some of the goals I set. I say “small list” because you never know what’s going to happen and it’s good to not overwhelm yourself at the beginning of the year. Meeting small goals and increasing them if you are able to throughout the year is a better idea.

Below are three images I took in October in Yosemite. One is of multiple climbers on El Capitan. People who climb El Cap always impress me as I don’t really have the nerve to tackle that kind of thing.

Another image is of the south fork of the Merced River, over by where I stay in Yosemite in the fall. This area of the park is an emotional spot for me as I’ve visited it my whole life and has significant meaning to me.

The last image is of Tunnel View the day I left the park for the year. It had snowed the night before which you can see in the distance around Half Dome and Clouds Rest. Once again, the view never gets old!

My closing message to you all for 2024 is to have a safe and Happy New Year and hope you find 2025 an inspirational and productive year! Always keep positive thoughts and enjoy every moment you can. Life is short – make the best of it!  …now…where should I go in 2025 for adventures and photos???  🙂

Have a great week everyone!
