Below are two images I took in Yosemite in April 2011. The Yosemite sign is no longer at the south entrance; however there is a similar restored version along the Big Oak Flat entrance. The image of the hills with the snow was taken around the town of Wawona, near the south entrance.

I’m not sure about taking road trips to national parks this year. I’m definitely going to Yosemite in October, but as far as other parks, it’s kind of up in the air. I’m thinking this year is going to be full of spontaneity. The north end of the Grand Canyon is still a possibility, but not sure when I’d go. It’s definitely a good month to disappear to somewhere… 🙂
