The first morning in Yosemite Valley was amazing this year! It was Saturday, May 31st and the whole valley was alive and looking spectacular as usual.

Below is an image of Upper and Lower Yosemite Falls together. There are lots of great spots along the trail to Lower Yosemite Falls from Yosemite Valley Lodge that provide opportunities for photos like this.

I’m going to Yosemite again in the fall and Sequoia, but starting to plan for travels for next year. I want to go back to Glacier, Yellowstone, and the Grand Teton, so it may happen next year. I’m also keeping Mt. Rainier, North Cascades, and Olympic National Park as options. I haven’t been to those, so bumping them up to the top of the list seems logical. So many beautiful places and such little time…
