While in Tuolumne Meadows in the Yosemite high country in June this year, I came across a marmot that was along the Tuolumne River.  It was a little nervous so I didn’t get too close.   It’s best to let wildlife be wild and not disturb it.  Below is an image of the marmot as well as an image of the Tuolumne River running through Tuolumne Meadows.  The evening was really relaxing as there weren’t a lot of people in the area at that time.
