Below is an image of the Merced River with El Capitan in the background. This was taken on June 3rd this year around 12pm. I pulled over and spent a little time relaxing while the river rushed on by. The river won’t look this full in the fall, but it should have some water. I’m hoping for a small storm to pass through the park to recharge the waterfalls and rivers. But if it doesn’t happen, no problem as there are a ton of other things to see in the park.
