My first night in the Sierra Nevada Mountains in June was (of course) in Yosemite! I arrived at Tunnel View at around 2am and quickly setup my tripod. Wouldn’t you know I was the only person in the area except for one RV that was tucked way in the back of the parking area. I hope I didn’t keep them up with my OOOs and AHHs of the night sky.
Below is an image I took from the overflow parking area of Tunnel View (it’s the parking area to the right after you come through the tunnel). I just decided to use some of the trees as a foreground image and keep them dark. I have to say I’m pretty happy with some of the images I took that night. The Milky Way was present and made it even more exciting! I’ll post more in the future.
Hope everyone in America and across the world had a great 4th of July holiday! It was quiet for me for the most part, but I do enjoy the quietness whenever possible. 🙂
Have a great week everyone!
