I’m back from Mammoth and Yosemite…and have already made plans to go back in October! Yes, I had an amazing time and had some photography challenges along the way. One issue I had was photographing lakes that consistently had ripples in the water. Getting a smooth surface is hard when fish are jumping out of the lake trying to get flies and other insects. So, my photos of Tioga Lake weren’t that great…but I did have a few of Mono Lake that came out good:
The next trip I plan to go all over Yosemite. I didn’t go much into Yosemite Valley on this last trip because there were so many people. October should be better because the crowds will have disappeared and there will be room to move around.
I’ll have pictures uploaded to my website soon and will write more in the coming days about my photographic adventures on the trip. It’s time to get ready for the week ahead and catch up on some much needed sleep!
