I love landscape images more than anything when it comes to photography. When you add the human spirit to the image, it can make it even more spectacular.
While landscape still photography is my number one thing to do, I’ve slowly warmed to the idea of doing video. On my upcoming trip to Yosemite, I plan to do both still and video work. It’s hard to say what I’ll come back with on the video side, but I’m making some early plans as to what to shoot.
As far as inspiration, there are a lot of beautiful landscapes in the world, but I recently saw an amazing video on You Tube of the Isle of Skye in Scotland. Not only is it of the beautiful countryside, it also shows the power of the human spirit.
