Thanksgiving went fast this year, but I did enjoy it with family and friends. Hopefully the rest of the season will go a little slower.
Trees are pretty symbolic this time of year, so I thought I’d post the picture below. At the time I took it (October, 2010), I’d just bought a new macro lens and was giving it a test run. The picture was taken with an aperture of f2, but I think I meant to use f4; it still looks good though. There’d been rain earlier that day, so I thought shots of the trees, with raindrops on the branches, might be nice. The forests always feel more alive after a good rainfall.
Speaking of rain, we’re expecting a few days of rain here in California. It’s about time! There’s been a pretty good drought here for the past year and the rain is much needed.
Have a great week everyone!
