I’m really lucky to live where I live. I can drive to the ocean within minutes or, in a matter of a couple of hours, be up in the mountains surrounded by a huge forest. The expansive sand dunes of Death Valley are also within proximity for a day or two of exciting adventures.

What made me reflect so much on this? Well, I have to say it really hit home last Sunday evening, after I posted my last blog. I looked out the window and saw some nice clouds in the sky and decided to drive to Ventura Harbor to see what the sunset would look like. Talk about a spectacular view! Sunsets at the harbor, after a rain storm, are really striking and this one was no exception. Below is one of the photos I took that evening.
