I’ve been going through and organizing my Lightroom catalog and came across a sunset photo taken in August of 2010. It looks like I took it with my Olympus SP600UZ, which is an ultra zoom camera. While it doesn’t shoot raw images, it takes fairly good jpegs. Below is the image.

I want to go on my fall trip now! Waiting until October is annoying me. I’m looking forward to taking a ton of images and will hopefully get some great opportunities. As far as the destinations, I’m still trying to figure that one out. Yosemite, of course, gets a green light and I have the cabin reserved. Lassen Volcanic National Park is probably a yes, which means I may only spend a little time at the Redwoods near Crescent City. It’s a twelve hour drive up there, so who knows what is going to happen.

Oh, about the fireworks this last week. Well…I decided not to do photos of them. Reason being is because the fair must have been on a limited budget this year and the firework show only lasted for six minutes each night! That’s really not enough time to get some good images. I’ll have to keep my eyes open for other firework shows in the future.
