Pine Cones

While on my last trip to the Sierras, I stopped at a place called Mono Mills, which is a historic landmark where there used to be a lumber mill. While looking around, I spotted a picnic table where someone had placed a group of pine cones. I thought it might make an interesting photo, so I used a shallow depth of field to bring more attention to the pine cones. I’ve posted one of the photos below.

This weekend was really hot in the Ventura area. Today’s high was 84 degrees! Hard to believe it was that hot at the end of November.

I’d like to take a moment and wish everyone here in the states and our military families across the world a Happy Thanksgiving! Hoping you all take time out and make some great photos. It’s time to pick up that camera and get creative!

Have a great week everybody!
