I haven’t had the opportunity to see the new exhibit at the Annenberg Space for Photography yet, but I did have a chance to see one of their lectures online this last Thursday. The guest photographer was Mac Stone and his lecture was regarding the Everglades. Talk about AMAZING photos! Mac’s lecture was not only visually stunning, but the stories he told were really great, especially his hysterical story on burrowing owls. If you have a little time, please take a moment and check out the lecture by clicking on the following link. It is currently a replay from Thursday, but will eventually have a permanent link on the Annenberg’s site for the video:

The waves out along the Ventura coastline have been absolutely huge this last week, so I’m hoping to catch some nice photos in the next week. I stopped along the coast on my way to work one morning to try and get some shots, but was ill prepared. I’ll try again this week and post them on my next blog, if all goes well. To give you an idea of how insane the waves have been, click on the link below for a news report regarding the Ventura Pier:

Have a great week everyone!
