2013 National Geographic Photography Contest Winner Announced

This years National Geographic Photography Contest saw more than 7,000 entries from all over the world and I have to say that there were some absolutely amazing photos submitted.

The grand prize winner this year is: Paul Souders from Seattle, WA. The photo he submitted is entitled: The Ice Bear. It is a picture of a polar bear submerged in a pool of water surrounded by ice.
