The photo below I took while hiking up to Lembert Dome early one morning in Tuolumne Meadows. I didn’t take this specific photo from Lembert Dome, but the granite dome next to it. It seemed to have better angles for the photo. The river is the Tuolumne River running through the east end of Tuolumne Meadows.
How I wish I was up in Tuolumne Meadows this weekend. It’s been hot and humid here in Southern California and this week looks like it’s not going to be much better. Well, I can dream about the great weather that is up in the High Sierra…
On a side note, I’m going to Lassen Volcanic National Park after all! I didn’t think I’d be able to do it, but fate intervened. I’ll be going up for three days in August. Hopefully it won’t be too hot. I’ll be doing a lot of hiking early in the morning. Don’t know what kind of pictures I’ll get, but hoping for some nice shots of the painted dunes.
Have a great week everyone!
