It was nice getting away from the busy city and escaping to Yosemite! The fall colors looked amazing in the valley and along highway 41, as well as along the Big Oak Flat Road.
Unfortunately Tioga Pass was closed this time since the park recently had a pretty strong snow storm. Below is an image of Half Dome and Clouds Rest after the snow storm. Really nice to see the Sierra Nevada mountains get snow early.
Glacier Point road was closed as well, but I decided to hike the Four Mile Trail from Yosemite Valley up to Glacier Point. It was a 3200 foot elevation gain, so the hike was exhausting. However, the views were the BIG payoff! It’s always amazing up there. Below are a couple of pictures from Glacier Point after the hike.
Have a great week everyone!
