Below is an image I took in October 2023 in Sequoia National Park. I got up really early, so early it was still dark outside, and drove to the parking area for the Giant Forest Museum. From there I walked to the trailhead for the Big Trees Trail and walked counter clockwise around the trail. It was amazing seeing the different stages of morning twilight and then sunrise around the area. Always nice to walk down a quiet trail alone and just take in the beauty.

Still haven’t come up with a trip idea for this year. I’ve been looking, but still nothing seems to really jump out at me. It may be a quiet year this year.
