Below are two pictures I took in 2016. The first one is of Lassen Peak, which I think I took from Devastated Area in June. The other is Burney Falls, which I took in October. It was nice going to Northern California twice last year. Unfortunately this year I won’t be making a trip up there.

Last week I wasn’t able to post a blog because my computer was doing an update and it took most of the night. I had no idea it was going to happen or take that long. Sometime technology can be a real pain…

I’ve moved my fall trip to Yosemite to November. The main reason I decided to push it back is because I wanted to see the new Mariposa Grove trails, which were supposed to reopen in the spring of this year, but the National Park Service kept pushing it back further and further. It’s currently scheduled to reopen in early November, so hopefully I’ll have an opportunity to see it. My tire chains are ready to go if necessary; you never know when it’s going to snow that time of the year.
