Crumbaugh Lake

After my visit to Crater Lake National Park in early October, my next stop was Lassen Volcanic National Park. As always, the days in Lassen were beautiful.

When in national parks I’ve visited before, I always like to try at least one new hike. This time while in Lassen, I decided to hike to Crumbaugh Lake since I’d never been there before. The trail to the lake was pretty well burned due to the Dixie fire that happened in 2021. Though there were a lot of burned trees, I still enjoyed the hike. It was raining most of the morning which made the hike even better!

Below is an image of Crumbaugh Lake. I’ve also added a couple of images of charred logs along the trail.

The holiday season is definitely in full swing! Are you all ready for great times and yummy food? I am! 🙂

Have a great week everyone!
