There wasn’t much snow pack this last winter in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. It was quite evident when I went to Yosemite in June. If you see the image below, that is Quaking Aspen Falls in the high country of Yosemite in June. It usually has much more water flowing through it that time of year. Global warming is definitely taking it’s toll on the national parks.
I live in one of the coolest areas of Southern California and it’s still really hot today! It’s currently 91 degrees Fahrenheit, which to some in Southern California seems cool. It very rarely gets this hot in the Oxnard/Ventura area.
My thoughts and prayers are with the community of Weed, California. This small town in Northern California completely burned down over the weekend from a fire that did it’s damage in minutes.
While everything seems to be really difficult around the world, let’s all stay positive and help each other whenever possible. We all need to work together to heal the world.
Have a great week everyone!
