I spent an early morning around Pothole Dome during my June trip to Yosemite. I had the whole area to myself! It seems as if nobody had the idea of doing an early morning hike around the dome that day.

Below are two images from that morning. The first is of the Tuolumne River cascading down behind the dome toward Glen Aulin. The second is of Tuolumne Meadows as I was hiking back to my car. The deer didn’t seemed to phased about the fact I was in the area.

I’m looking forward to my trips in October…but I kind of want to do another trip before then. Maybe something close by???
