Fisheye Fun

I didn’t get many chances to use my new fisheye lens on my latest trip to Yosemite, but the image below is one that I caught with it. The up-shot of the one giant sequoia and other surrounding trees came out pretty good I think. It’s always a challenge to take pictures with such an unusual lens. From what I’ve read, most people use the fisheye lens for architectural photography.

I’m still working on the “litter in our national parks” project. One idea has to do with transparent overlays of litter over landscape shots. It’s kind of hard to explain, but it’s almost like a before and after shot. I can tell this is going to take a while to figure out, but is definitely interesting to work on.
