The high country of Yosemite is without a doubt one of my favorite places to hike. The granite domes (Lembert, Dog, and Pothole) that surround Tuolumne Meadows are always a must stop for me to explore.
The two photos below are ones that I took around Pothole Dome. The first photo was taken from on top of the dome facing northwest toward Glen Aulin. The second photo is of the Tuolumne River on the backside of the dome.
I am heading to the Grand Canyon later this month and then to Yosemite for some hiking adventures in the south end of the park. Looking forward to seeing fall foliage in the Sierra!
Have a great week everyone!
