I am a frequent reader of Photograph magazine, a pdf magazine for photographers presented by Craft & Vision. In the most recent edition of the magazine is an inspirational article written by photographer Guy Tal called “Wake Up!” The article basically talks about photographers and to what lengths they go to pursue their dreams. It’s an article that not only speaks to photographers, but just about any artists in any medium. Check out the article in issue twelve of Photograph by visiting Craft & Vision at the following link:
The magazine is $8.00 and is worth every penny. It also has an article by Michael Frye, a really great photographer who I had the opportunity to take a workshop with through the Ansel Adams Gallery in Yosemite.
Speaking of Yosemite, I’m just a couple weeks away from my trip up there and the weather has been pretty amazing the past couple of weeks. Snow has been in the forecast most recently, but it looks like the snow is slowly turning to rain heading into the end of May.
It’s also been raining a little in the Ventura and Santa Barbara areas the past couple of weeks. Below is a picture I took through the sunroof of my car before I headed home from Santa Barbara one evening. I like the way the raindrops just laid on the glass and thought it would make an interesting picture.
Have a great week everyone!
